Laws of Interim Gov't-in-Exile Become Cultural Asset

The Cultural Heritage Administration will register as cultural assets the laws of the Korean government-in-exile during Japan’s colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula.

The administration issued Thursday an advance notice of registering as cultural assets a written text of the interim government's laws and the national flag used by its provisional legislative body.

The administration says the rules offer a glimpse into the government-in-exile’s initial activities and its relations with the ethnic Korean community in Shanghai.
