South Korea’s Unification Ministry has denounced North Korea for criticizing President Park Geun-hye for her comments during her visit to China.
 
Ministry spokesman Kim Hyung-seok said in a regular news briefing Monday that it is regrettable Pyongyang again directly mentioned the president’s name and used inappropriate expressions referring to the head of a country.
 
The spokesman said the North needs to refrain from making reckless remarks and comments for the healthy development of inter-Korean relations, calling on Pyongyang to use polite language.
 
Kim stressed the South Korean president’s lecture in China pointed out that North Korea's nuclear program is getting in the way of receiving international investment the North needs to rebuild its economy.
