A record 225 TV dramas from 48 countries will compete in the eighth Seoul Drama Awards.
 
Foreign competitors include season two of the U.S.’ “Homeland” and season eight of “House M.D.” The U.K.’s “Downton Abbey” is also among foreign competitors.
 
The organizing committee will also conduct online polls through late July to select winners in certain categories.
 
The award ceremony will be held at the National Theater in Seoul on September fifth.
