South Korean companies with factories at the suspended Gaeseong Industrial Park in North Korea will send officials to the inter-Korean joint venture to inspect their facilities for two days from Wednesday. 

A South Korean company official said Tuesday that representatives from machinery, electronic and electric firms will make the trip on Wednesday. Officials from textile and garment companies will cross the border on Thursday.
 
The official added that the government asked the companies to draw up plans to bring back finished goods and raw materials from the complex between July 12th and the 17th. The companies are working on detailed plans.  

The visits are in line with an agreement South and North Korea reached over the weekend.
