A Unification Ministry official has stressed that specific measures aimed at "constructive normalization" of the Gaeseong Industrial Complex should be produced in Wednesday’s inter-Korean talks.

The official said on Tuesday that the South and North are now divided over the future course of action as Seoul is calling for the constructive normalization and Pyongyang is emphasizing resuming operations at the suspended industrial park.  

Along such lines, the South Korean official added that the talks should be focused on ways to prevent the future suspension of the inter-Korean joint venture.
