World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) President Choue Chung-won has been elected to serve a fourth term at the helm of the global governing body of the Korean martial art.

In the federation's general assembly held in Puebla, Mexico, Choue ran unchallenged and was appointed as chief for four more years in a unanimous decision.

Another South Korean, ruling Saenuri Party Rep. Hong Moon-jong, withdrew his candidacy. 

The 65-year-old first took over the WTF in 2004. He was re-elected in 2005 and again in 2009.
