Amid the ongoing inter-Korean talks on the suspended Gaeseong Industrial Complex operations, North Korea has revealed its stance on the matter through media outlets.
The Rodong Sinmun, an organ of the North's ruling Workers' Party, said in an editorial on Monday that the South should put an end the state of confrontation.
The daily said Seoul should dispel distrust of its fellow country and revise hostile policies on the North in order to end confrontation between the two sides.
It also pointed out that a mode of confrontation continues even after a new government was launched in Seoul and various tricky issues constantly emerge between the two sides.
Meanwhile, North Korea’s propaganda Web site, Uriminzokkiri, dismissed Seoul’s call for the “internationalization” of the Gaeseong complex, saying it's needless to say that the suspension of the complex was not caused by any lack of foreign companies at the complex or regulations equivalent to international standards.
