Two Koreas Not Budging on Gaeseong Issue

South and North Korea are holding their fourth inter-Korean talks on the stalled Gaeseong Industrial Complex.

At the start of Wednesday's talks in Gaeseong following a failed third round on Monday, South Korea's chief negotiator Kim Ki-woong was asked by his North Korean counterpart Pak Chol-su if there would be good results this time.

Kim responded that he wishes to build a sturdy house capable of enduring the rain, wind and storm.

Pak then said that if the fog clears up, a distant mountain peak can be seen.

The talks began at 10 a.m., but apparently little progress has been made as it's believed both sides remain firmly rooted in their previous positions on resuming the inter-Korean factory park.

Throughout Wednesday, they are likely to engage in a heated discussion over a draft agreement exchanged during the previous round of talks on Monday.
