Hollywood blockbuster “Red 2” starring South Korean actor Lee Byung-hun topped the domestic box office in its opening weekend.  

The Korean Film Council on Monday said the film drew 830-thousand viewers between Friday and Sunday.

South Korean film “Cold Eyes” sold 570-thousand tickets over the weekend to finish second. Cold Eyes has sold a total of four million tickets since it went to the big screen. 

South Korean 3D film “Mr. Go” drew 540-thousand admissions followed by "Pacific Rim" at 420-thousand viewers.
