Officials of South Korean firm Hyundai Asan visited Mount Geumgang in North Korea on Saturday for a memorial service for former Hyundai Group Chairman Chung Mong-hun.

A delegation of 38 officials including Hyundai Group Chairwoman Hyun Jeong-eun traveled to Mount Geumgang through an inter-Korean transit office in Gangwon Province and attended a memorial service marking the tenth anniversary of the death of the former chairman.

They also inspected Hyundai Asan facilities there.

Chairwoman Hyun's Saturday visit was the first in four years.
