South Korean pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin has earned his eleventh win of the season with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Ryu allowed one unearned run on five singles and struck out seven batters in the win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday. The Dodgers were ahead 4-1 when the 26-year-old left hander was pulled in the eighth inning. 

He lowered his ERA from 3.15 to 2.99 and led his team to a 5 to 1 victory. 

Ryu has won five straight games, and Thursday's victory put him one win ahead of the Dodger's number one starter and Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw.
