The prosecution lifted exit bans Tuesday on Hyundai Asan Chairman Chung Mong-hun and President Kim Yoon-kyu after deciding Monday to delay an investigation into Hyundai Merchant Marine's remittance of secret funds to North Korea. The exit bans were imposed on the two Hyundai leaders and 14 other officials for their possible involvement in the scandal surrounding the alleged provision of secret financial aid to Pyongyang. A prosecution official said the ban on the 14 others, including former Korea Development Bank Governor Om Nak-yong, Korea Development Bank Vice Governor Park Sang-bae and former Hyundai Merchant Marine President Kim Choong-sik, will be lifted soon.
