KBS Orchestra Appoints Yoel Levi as New Conductor

The orchestra’s board of directors approved Maestro Yoel Levi, a Romanian, as the new conductor and music director on Thursday.
Levi debuted by winning the International Besançon Competition for Young Conductors in 1978. He served as the music director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the conductor of the Ile-de-France Orchestra and the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra.
He will conduct the KBS Symphony Orchestra for the first time at the Seoul Arts Center on September 27th.
