South Korean baseball pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin captured his 13th win of the season with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday.

In the 9-2 win over the San Diego Padres, Ryu allowed one run and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out six and walked one at the home game, which followed his first back-to-back losses in Major League Baseball.

At 13-5, the victory ties Ryu with teammates Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke in wins. The Dodgers have won 21 games this month and lead the National League West with a 79-55 record.
