Ceremony Held to Mark Taekwondo Day

The ceremony was held in Seoul by four taekwondo-related organizations, including the World Taekwondo Federation and the Kukkiwon. Three-hundred people took part in the celebration of the Korean martial art.
Taekwondo Day was designated in 2006 to recognize the International Olympic Committee’s adoption of Taekwondo as an official Olympic sport in 1994.
