A team of South Korean weightlifters have left for North Korea to take part in an international competition in Pyongyang.
 
The group of 41 athletes and officials departed for Beijing Tuesday morning.
 
They will take an Air Koryo flight to Pyongyang for the 2013 Asian Cup and Interclub Weightlifting Championship.
 
The event begins Wednesday and is organized by the Asian Weightlifting Federation.
