South Korean movie “Snowpiercer” will be shown in France.

The South Korean movie will be simultaneously released in up to 300 theaters across France late next month.

The movie has earned roughly 20 billion won overseas, about half of its production costs.

On Monday, Director Bong Joon-ho said in a news conference at the Korean Culture Center in Paris he thinks French people are interested in his latest film since they view it as a sci-fi film.

Starting from France, the flick is scheduled to open in a total of 167 countries.
