Gov’t Launches Web Portal on Cultural, Historical Assets

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened an online portal Wednesday to provide information on South Korea's cultural and historical assets.
Visitors can use the portal to look up information on around 300-thousand cultural assets and relics registered with the Cultural Heritage Administration or located at 104 museums across the country.
The ministry will draft a plan by the end of this year to establish an integrated national cultural asset management system that encompasses those run by the Cultural Heritage Administration and the National Museum of Korea.
