South Korea is preparing to host its annual festival to promote Korean dramas. 

The 2013 Korea Drama Festival will open on October first in the city of Jinju. The two-week festival has been held since 2006.
 
Some 200 Chinese tourists will fly to the Sacheon Airport in North Gyeongsang Province to attend this year's event.
 
The 2013 Korea Drama Awards will be held October second and the Korea Dramatic Concert will take place the next day. On October fifth, there will also be a concert featuring original soundtracks from Korean dramas.
 
At the Korea Drama Awards, a panel of judges will evaluate all dramas aired on terrestrial TV and cable channels on 14 areas.
