2nd Atlanta Korean Film Festival to Open Thursday

The 2nd Atlanta Korean Film Festival opens this week as Korean films continue to grow in popularity around the world.  
 
The festival begins Thursday for ten days in Atlanta, Georgia. South Korea’s Foreign Ministry is hosting the event, which will open with the film “Face Reader.” A total of 22 Korean films will be screened.
 
A ceremony for the festival will be held at the Rialto Center for the Arts on Friday. Star actress Jo Yeo-jeong of the movie “The Servant,” and Ryoo Seoung-yong and other actors from the film “Miracle in Cell Number 7” will attend.
 
Major U.S. firms are sponsoring the film festival, including Comcast, UPS and Home Depot.
