South Korean film “The Face Reader” has sold more than seven million tickets just 13 days after its release. 

The film’s distributor, Showbox, says the movie was released on September 11th and reached the seven million ticket mark around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

"The Face Reader" hit the mark two days sooner than previous box-office hits such as “Snowpiercer," “Miracle in Cell No. Seven” and “Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King."
