A meeting on the joint management of the Gaeseong Industiral Complex scheduled for Thursday has been canceled.
 
The Unification Ministry said North Korea notified South Korean authorities on Wednesday it wants to postpone a subcommittee meeting on border passage, communications and customs clearance. Only a subcommittee meeting on South Koreans' stay in North Korea will open on Thursday.
 
The ministry said the North did not specify why it wants to delay the subcommittee meeting and when it hopes to open the talks.
 
The subcommittee meetings are a part of the larger South-North joint management committee on the inter-Korean industrial park in the North.
