KBS and the nation’s major online portal Naver have agreed to work together to enhance public services.

KBS President and CEO Gil Hwan-young and Naver CEO Kim Sang-hun signed the deal Monday with an emphasis on establishing a system that enables broadcasting online in case of a disaster.

Under the agreement, the two companies will actively cooperate to quickly share and spread news in case of a disaster. They will also work to foster global talent for software and develop South Korea's media industry.
