KBS World Radio Marks 40th Anniv. of Diplomatic Ties with Indonesia

The Indonesian language section of KBS World Radio hosted a special show Sunday to mark the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between South Korea and Indonesia.
 
Under the theme of the "melody of eternal friendship,” the 70-minute show featured various South Korean musical acts including K-pop group “Sunny Hill,” duo “Casker” and female singer Im Jeong-hee.
 
Some 800 Indonesian workers and expatriates came to see the show, which was held at a community center for foreign residents in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.
 
KBS World Radio, the international broadcasting division of KBS, broadcasts in eleven languages and is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
