Seoul to Debut Helicopter Tours Wednesday

Helicopter tours will be available downtown Seoul from Wednesday.

The Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry and the Seoul Metropolitan Government say local travel agency Blue Airlines will introduce the tours.

There are tours routes for four areas of Seoul: Jamsil, Yeouido, Gwangnaru and the World Trade Center area. All tours begin from a site in Jamsil.

The Yeouido route offers a view of bridges on the Han River and the N Seoul Tower. The Gwangnaru course will tour east of the Han River including Mount Acha while the Trade Center tour will cover the river and sights of Gangnam.

The Jamsil course is five minutes long and a two-person tour will cost 70-thousand won a person.

Seoul City will promote the tours in connection with the existing Seoul City bus tour program, the Han River water taxi rides and Han River cruises.
