Korea Center Opens in Tokyo

South Korea has opened a Korea center in Tokyo to promote the nation’s traditional and contemporary cultures.
 
The center houses the Japan offices of Korea’s culture and tourism government agencies, such as the Korea Tourism Organization, the Korea Creative Contents Agency and the Overseas Korean Heritage Foundation.
 
The opening ceremony will be held Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Korean Ambassador to Japan Lee Byung-ki and other guests will attend.
