K-Pop World Festival Held in Changwon

The third annual K-Pop World Festival was held in Changwon on Sunday.

American Arnelle Nonon won top honors in the vocal competition, and "Alladin" a 6-member dance group from Uzbekistan, won in the dance category.

They were among 15 teams who made it to the final competition in Korea following preliminaries in 43 countries. 

The K-Pop World Festival is hosted by KBS and Changwon City. The number of contestants has tripled from 3 years ago to more than 60-thousand. 

The festival will be broadcast on KBS World in 88 countries to more than 200 million viewers.
