A survey has found KBS to be the most trusted, influential media company even among today's mobile environment.
The Korea Advertisers Association says 42 percent of people polled chose KBS as the most reliable media source. Twenty-six percent chose MBC and 18-point-three percent SBS.
Forty-seven-point-eight percent also said KBS is the most influential. MBC and SBS followed with 27-point-nine percent and 15-point-five percent, respectively.
The survey also found TV to be the most popular medium. Respondents said they spend an average of 167 minutes watching TV daily, 145 minutes on their smartphones daily and 51 minutes on their computer daily.
Facebook was the most popular mobile social network service among people in their 20s. Kakao Story was favored by women in their 30s. Teenage girls were found to be more in favor of Twitter.
The month-long survey was conducted on one-thousand people who use TVs, smartphones and PCs in September.
