94th National Sports Festival Ends, Park Tae-hwan Named MVP

Park Tae-hwan has been named the most valuable player of the 94th National Sports Festival. 

Park was selected as MVP in a media poll after winning four gold medals and one bronze medal at the seven-day festival in Incheon that pits province against province.

Gyeonggi Province ranked first in the competition for the 12th consecutive year after winning 154 gold, 142 silver and 134 bronze medals. The province had a total score of 61-thousand-156 points.

Next year’s festival will be held in Jeju Island.
