Cloudy skies covered most of the country in the morning carrying some rain or snow showers. The weather is expected to clear up by Tuesday afternoon.

A heavy snowfall warning has been issued in the Gangwon and eastern seaboard areas where two to five millimeters of snow is expected to fall.

Strong winds are forecast in the afternoon bringing down temperatures.

Midday highs in most parts of the country will range from one to ten degrees.

Waves of up to two to four meters are expected off all coasts.
