S. Korean Football Team Beats Swiss 2:1 in Friendly

South Korea's national football team won a come-from-behind victory over Switzerland in a friendly in Seoul on Friday. 

At the Seoul World Cup Stadium, the South Korean national team led by coach Hong Myung-bo beat Switzerland 2:1 with Hong Jeong-ho's score-tying goal before the hour mark and Lee Chung-yong's tie-breaking goal with just five minutes remaining.      

With the victory on Friday, South Korea now records one win and one loss with the Swiss. The last encounter between South Korea and Switzerland was at the 2006 World Cup in Germany where South Korea lost to Switzerland two nil.

During the half time break, defender Lee Young-pyo bid farewell to his fans before finishing his final game.

South Korea is ranked 56th in the world while the Swiss rank 7th.
