Cho Yong-pil, G-Dragon, EXO Win Awards at MAMA 2013

Singers Cho Yong-pil, G-Dragon and boy-band EXO have each won a grand prize in three main categories of the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

At the event held in Hong Kong on Friday, Cho won the Song of the Year award with his hit single "Bounce." G-Dragon from popular K-pop group Big Bang won the Artist of the Year award, and rising boy band EXO won the Album of the Year award with its first full-length studio album "XOXO."

The Mnet Asian Music Awards is one of the major K-pop music award ceremonies held annually since 1999. The ceremony is broadcast live in many Asian countries including China, Japan and Singapore.
