S. Korea Draws Belgium, Russia, Algeria in World Cup First Round

South Korea will compete in Group H with Belgium, Russia and Algeria for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.  
 
The World Cup draw was held in the Brazilian resort town of Costa do Sauipe on Friday.
 
Belgium is considered the top seed in the group as it stands eleventh in FIFA world rankings. Russia ranks 22nd and Algeria is 26th. South Korea ranks 54th.
 
The South Korean team, led by coach Hong Myung-bo, will open Group H play on June 18th in Cuiabá against Russia. On June 23rd, the Korean team will play against Algeria in Porto Alegre and against Belgium four days later in São Paulo.
