Skater Kim Records Highest Short Program Score of Year

Figure skater Kim Yu-na finished first on Friday in the short program at the Golden Spin of Zagreb in Croatia.
 
Kim scored 73-point-37 points, the highest short program score to be recorded for this season. The previous best score was 73-point-18 points posted by Japan’s Mao Asada in October.
 
Japanese skater Miki Ando finished second on Friday with 62-point-81 points, followed by Elizaveta Tuktamysheva of Russia with 58-point-81 points.
 
Kim will compete in the free skate on Sunday.
