Bitnoriya in Yeosu Chosen as a Key Winter Festival

A local festival in Yeosu has been selected as one of the top 20 winter festival destinations by the Korea National Tourism Organization.
 
The festival called Bitnoriya in Yeosu 2013 will kick off on the 20th for a 75-day run.

It will feature brilliant illumination using LED lights every night from 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

Yeosu City says the festival will officially launch on the 20th with around one thousand citizens and tourists taking part in the lighting ceremony.

Other festivals chosen by the tourism authority include Daegwallyeong Snow Festival, and Ganghwa Sparling Festival.
