Churches across South Korea will hold masses and services on Christmas Eve Tuesday to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
 
At the Myeongdong Cathedral, a Christmas Eve mass will be held at midnight with Archbishop Andrew Yeom Soo-jung of the Seoul Archdiocese presiding.
 
In a Christmas message, Yeom said bright light should be shone upon the dark world with the teachings of Jesus and love for neighbors.

Other Christian services will be held throughout the capital and the country.
