South Korea’s surfing scene is riding a historic wave of success — and at the center of it all is 18-year-old Kanoa Hee-Jae Palmiano, Korea's top-ranked surfer.
At this year’s Asian Surfing Championships (ASC) 2025 in India, Kanoa made history as the first-ever double champion, winning gold in both the Men's Open and Junior divisions.
