South Korea's Song Suk-woo won the men's 500-metre sprint Saturday at the world short-track speed-skating championship held in Goteborg, Sweden.
Song led the four-lap race all the way to win in 42-point-5 seconds and give South Korea its third gold medal in the championship.
Li Haonan of China was second in 42-point-6 seconds. Countryman Li Ye earned the bronze only after 1,500 gold-medallist South Korean Ahn Hyun-soo was disqualified for impeding.
