Japan Says Wartime Sex Slave Issue has been Settled

Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura said at a news conference Tuesday morning that the Japanese government has not affected any change to its policies on the issue.

This is the first time that a comment that Fujimura, who speaks for the Japanese government and the Prime Minister’s office, has explicitly expressed Tokyo's stance on the issue.
