The ITU Plenipotentiary Conference is the highest decision-making organization in the ITU attended by ministerial-level delegates from 193 nations. The conference discusses and makes decisions on key issues in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) worldwide.
The 2014 conference will mark the second time it is hosted in an Asia-Pacific region. Kyoto, Japan, was the first Asia-Pacific nation to host the meeting in 1994.
