A wave of fires were reported in the U.S. city of Los Angeles for three days from December 29th to the 31st.

Los Angeles media reported that 39 separate fires, which are assumed to be arson, took place throughout residential districts including West Hollywood.

No casualties were reported, but 17 cars were burned and properties worth 350-thousand dollars were lost.

Police are reportedly detaining at least two suspects in connection with the blazes.
