Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan has called on the Japanese government to accept Korea’s proposal to hold bilateral talks regarding Korea’s comfort women issue.

He also said that when he believes the issue cannot be dealt with in a bilateral manner, international arbitration will be inevitable.
