China’s state-run English language daily reports Chinese authorities say they cracked down on nearly one trillion won worth of knockoff products in 2011.

China’s Quality Certification Center announced that it uncovered around 970 billion won or five-point-three billion yuan worth of fake products last year.

The counterfeit products include milk products, alcohol, meat and items that infringe on intellectual property rights.

Knockoffs in China have been a serious issue, especially following allegations that fake industrial products were exported to the U.S. and used in the manufacturing of fighter jets, which led to a diplomacy dispute between the two countries.
