The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied nearly 72 points on Monday to close at 12-thousand-921.

The S&P 500 index, meanwhile, fell zero-point-69 points to one-thousand-369-point-57 while the Nasdaq composite index slid around 23 points to close at two-thousand-988-point-40.

European stocks, meanwhile, saw a jump on Monday.

Britain’s FTSE 100 index jumped 26-hundredths of a percent to five-thousand-666-point-28 while France’s CAC 40 index surged 51-hundredths of a percent to close at three-thousand-205-point-28.

Germany’s DAX 30 index grew 63-hundredths of a percent to close at six-thousand-625-point-19.
