Samsung Electronics has filed another suit against Apple at a U.S. court just a day after the CEOs of both companies agreed to engage in settlement talks over standing patent suits.

According to Foss Patents and foreign media, Samsung filed a lawsuit on Thursday in the Northern District of California against Apple, citing eight patent infringements.

Media report that Samsung’s recent suit follows a U.S. federal lawsuit Apple brought against in February.

Samsung Electronics CEO Choi Gee-sung and Apple CEO Tim Cook are expected to meet up in court for the settlement conference sometime within the next 90 days.
