US Stock Prices Saw Fluctuations Thursday

U.S. stock prices fluctuated on Thursday despite Europe and China’s announcement of economic stimulus plans and improved U.S. employment indices.

At the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell around 47 points from Wednesday to close at 12-thousand-896-point-67 on Thursday.

The S&P 500 index slipped six-point-four points to one-thousand-367-point-58 while the tech-heavy Nasdaq composite index surged zero-point-zero-four points to two-thousand-976-point-12.

Jitters mounted in the New York Stock Exchange despite the emergence of Europe and China’s economic stimulus plans after European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said that “economic growth in the euro area continues to remain weak, with heightened uncertainty weighing on confidence and sentiment.”
