ILO Warns against Increasing No. of Jobless People in Euro Zone

The International Labor Organization (ILO) is warning that the number of jobless people will rise to 22 million in Europe within four years if euro zone countries fail to create more jobs.

The ILO said in a report that 17-point-four million people are currently unemployed in euro zone nations and the employment rate is falling in more than half those countries.

The organization called on euro zone nations to prevent an increase in the number of unemployed people by focusing on job creation and scaling down their austerity policies.
