More and more African university students are working to get their foot in the door at a South Korean company.

South Korean businesses are gaining popularity in Africa, as they offer good paychecks and transfer advanced technologies to the locals.

The growing popularity of South Korean companies and products has encouraged African people to turn to Korean schools where they can learn the Korean language and culture. Many African people strive to enter Korean schools there, despite a competition rate of 50 to one.

The number of students taking Korean language courses has increased from eight to 100 in five years. And the Kenyan government will be opening a Korean studies course at prestigious Kenyan universities.

As its popular culture has become a mega hit in many foreign countries, South Korea is now attracting Africa with its advanced technologies and know-how to achieve rapid economic development.
