South Korean singer PSY will deliver a lecture to students at the University of Oxford amid his global popularity for his megahit song “Gangnam Style.”

The South Korean singer's tune went to the top in the UK, making him the first South Korean singer to climb the British singles chart.

The lecture at Oxford will be included in the itinerary for PSY's tour of Europe that begins on November fourth. An exact date for the lecture has not yet been set.

PSY was invited by the Oxford Union, a students’ debating society at the university. More than 70 percent of Oxford students are members of the society.

The union hosts a lecture every week. Distinguished people such as Mother Theresa of Calcutta, the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama and Michael Jackson were invited to the weekly event as lecturers.
