Survey: Majority of Chinese are Centrists

A survey shows that a majority of Chinese people are neither leftists nor rightists.

A researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Studies announced the results of the survey in a recently published book.

According to the survey on Chinese people’s political tendencies, 51-point-five percent of respondents answered that they are centrists. Thirty-eight-point-one percent called themselves leftists while only eight percent said that they are rightists.

Other details of the survey, including the number of people polled, were not revealed.
